Untitled Fruit Game Prototype Launch!


This has been a game idea that I've been pushing off for a few years. By the end of quarantine, I hope that this game is simple enough to be able to polish and publish this game on multiple platforms. 

In the game, you control a fruit by tilting a cutting board. Your goal is to guide the fruit to power-ups while avoiding falling knives. Once you collect enough power-ups, the fruit is able to knock knives off the cutting board (I wanted this knockback to feel like Crash Bandicoot flinging away enemies).

This marks the release of a basic prototype of the game mechanics, I guess Alpha v0.0001. Currently, there is very simple functionality, and I would love comments and suggestions to influence the future of this game! You can see my running checklist for features and bugfixes here.

I was heavily inspired by the flash game Dots (which feels about 100 years old at this point). I played that game for hours on end as a kid and could barely get into the hard mode!
